Good price for a spare tire?

Anyone know where to find a good price on a 14" spare tire? (not rim, just tire)

I have a 5th Rockwood 14" aluminum rim coming and will want to have a tire put on it. I'm not certain, but think I have Kenda Load Star brand tires. The trailer is parked off site so I will have to check all the specs tomorrow.

Did the trailer not come with a spare? If it did why not just swap the rims.

I had Kendas on a Popup and they served me well.
Very thick and heavy.
Etrailer carries only Kenda tires and to me that says a lot.

Discount Tire
if you have one near you
it's only a spare
medium grade tire maybe ???
should be fine

still probably better quality
than what comes new on most units

They let me keep the white spare rim/tire for my trip since they had ordered the wrong size extra aluminum rim for my Roo. I could just swap out the tire from it, but not sure how much the local tire place would charge to swap tires out since I'd likely not be buying the tire from them. Etrailer seems to be the only place that sells Kenda's at a reasonable price.

I figured I'd just get a new tire put on the aluminum rim when it gets here and then just sell the white one to somebody whose looking for a ready to go/throw on the mount spare. Thanx for the replies all.

15 to 25 bucks sounds about right
be sure to always get them balanced also

If the dealer ordered the wrong size rim they should pay to have the tire changed from one rim to the other.

They are having FR deliver the correct rim to my house from the factory. The dealer was supposed to have already put the 5th rim/tire on the back, but didn't before we arrived for the walk-thru.

Luckily they hadn't otherwise we wouldn't have known about the wrong size rim until we had a flat and needed to change to the spare...possibly on the 8-hr drive home .

Plus they let me keep the original steel wheel so now I'll have 2 spares.
