Thanks for the direction before I got up there sdelam! Before when I was gonna put it in I wasn't sure which one to connect it to. After you told me which one was which, I was able to figure it out on the diagram. Hopefully this helps others wanting this mod on their Coleman Mach.

Really though, if it gets too wet for you on the west side feel free to come to my neck of the woods for warm weather and 300 days of sunshine. Only a 2-3 hour drive to Leavenworth/Wenatchee.
that's alright, the DW's sister owns a store in Leavenworth and two in Winthrop. they own two houses, one in Winthrop and the other on the west side of Lake Chelan, right on the water.
so, we have plenty of places to go on the east side, if we need to. but i like the green of the west side, even with the rain. i couldn't live on the east side, except someplace like Winthrop, where there are woods.

Lot's of woods in the Leavenworth/Wenatchee area. Sounds like you will have some pretty sweet, family destinations!

I am not sure why you would need two. It is only for initial startup. If your generator does not have the amps to run your AC I do not believe that two hard start cap's will help at all. But I do not know much about these electric systems.

Do not add 2, It will just be a waist of time and money. If you are still having a problem you might more have a weak or bad start cap. not the hard start. A bad capacitor will show a bulge in it. You can take the wires off and short it across the terminals with a screw driver. Then use an ohm meter and see what they are, depending on capacitor itself. You should find what it should read on the internet. They are all different depending on the micro frets it draws.

Don't short it with your hands, or you'll be very surprised and unhappy.

Don't ask how I know.
