Hard start Capacitor, 2014 Roo 233s

Hello everyone, I have a question about installing the Supco spp6 into my 2014 Rockwood Roo. I took the cover off last year and found a similar looking device in the metal box with my run Capasitor. I believe I have the Coleman Mach 13.5 AC unit but can't remember off the top of my head as I am not home right now. I remember buttoning it up and putting the Supco on the shelf until I could ask.

Do I piggy back on the existing start cap, or do I replace the stock start cap?

I will be Boondocking next week and want to make sure I have my AC if I need it to run off my generators as I will be in the high 80's.

we almost always dry camp and even though my 23SS is older, its Dometic 13.5k a/c will run on my Honda 2000.
and i've never added a hard cap to the stock a/c.

even tested it at Yellowstone and it ran but it wasn't hot outside.

if you've got generators(not sure which ones you're talking about), your newer a/c should run fine.

I have the Honda 2000 one standard, one companion. One will run the AC, but even with both it sounds like the AC struggles to start compared to when plugged into shore. Would the hard start help this?

Btw, off topic but when are you folks making the move up here?

Small oblong one is for the fan. The large one is for the compressor and is what you want to piggyback

sold our house friday and it's in escrow.
the buyer is letting us stay in the house til Aug 1.

so, we should be moved up to Camano, by the end of July, as long as there's no glitches in the inspection.

Hopefully that can be seen. Attached the two black wires from the Supco to the large round cap. Click image for larger version

It's my thread an I asked ;-)

Really though, if it gets too wet for you on the west side feel free to come to my neck of the woods for warm weather and 300 days of sunshine. Only a 2-3 hour drive to Leavenworth/Wenatchee.
