Has Forest River changed the design of the Hybrid Bunk Ends again?

Has Forest River changed the design of the Hybrid Bunk Ends again?

I just found this picture of a 2013 Rockwood Roo 233s on a RVUSA site.
http://www.rvusa.com/rvs/2013/forest...-illinois-5126

It appears that the tent Fabric extends beyond the Bunk End Door Flange.

If this is actually a picture of a 2013 Rockwood Roo it looks like the design has changed again.

Why?

you're right. compared to pics i've seen of the new pre-attached canvas, it appears that a skirt has been added.

That makes sense. The 2012 Roo I saw at the Milwaukee show was the one without the skirt and I noted it because the Jayco and another model had the attached bunks but with the skirt. FR is just following their lead, I think.

The pictures shown on that website are not indicative of the unit they are selling. The 1st statement of the description is "DUE IN 4/1/12."

Forest River won't follow the others in the market; the new style tents will not have the skirt.

I am not going to get too excited the Above "2013" picture looks very similar to this 2010 picture. Perhaps the first picture is a "stock photo of the old bungie style end or not can't tell.

I have a 2k Roo and my bunk ends have the skirt on them. Hmm, they must have removed it over the years and I never noticed.

Or maybe i'm missing it all together.
It's been a long day at work today...

nope, they've had the skirt for years. but last year they went to a pre-attached canvas that had no skirt.
the discussion is whether or not they've added the skirt back again, along with the pre-attached canvas.

We pick up our new 2012 233s on Friday. The current 2012 brochure shows with the skirt. Since we haven't seen our camper "live and in person" yet, I'm not sure if we have the skirt or not. Will post it on the week-end!
