Hate when we have to leave.

Really hate having to leave this view after 5 days and go back to the real world. Good thing is in a couple of weeks I get this view back again.

x2 - I couldn't agree more except I have to wait another month. Can't really complain since others have to wait longer.

We love Cagle, spent all of June except 3 days and a couple weeks in August. Beside that we go at least once of month.

Hate when we have to leave.

I don't know the loop name but it's the second loop. Most of the time we stay in 47 which is the very last spot. If we can't get that we stay in 29,30 or 46. Every now again we use to get 20 which is a camp host spot.

The picture was taken in spot 29

We are in the first loop, couple of spots on the inside. We are gonna do several daytrips, NASA, Kemah boardwalk, Battleship Texas Etc.

This is one of the views we could look at everyday for 3 weeks while dry camping in the Canadian Rockies this past summer of 2014. Just down from our campsite.

They look great!
Have you seen anybody in that area selling firewood? Would rather not drag a load down there if I can just pick up local.

If the campground doesn't have free wood there is a guy at the corner of 1375 and I45 on the east side that sells firewood. Do to construction the bridge on 1375 is closed if it's not open you might need to go to 1374 and back track 2 miles.

Free wood? Like scraps on ground or actual chopped wood from cleaning/clearing activities? Sounds good on the guy @ 1375. Close enough to make a run to from CG.

The free wood would be stuff they cut and chopped. They are now letting you collect anything in the ground. The guy on 1375 is 5 miles from the campground it's the same road cagle is on just other side of freeway.
