Help. Water Pump

Not long after I got my Roo I was checking on the trailer after it had been siting for a few weeks and noticed the water pump was running constantly even though nothing was on or open. Now when I turn the pump on with the switch it makes a humming noise like its running but nothing is happening. The water pressure is terrible. Did the pump blow? How do I check it? If bad, is it easy to replace?

Is the pump sucking air? Gurgling water etc. Are the connections tight?

Can always pull the pump out and hook hoses to it and stick one end in water. If it pumps you're good.

why was the water pump on while sitting? did someone leave the switch on before leaving it?
if so, the pump could be burn out if there was no water in the FW tank. or the diaphragm was damaged trying to pressurize without water.

My father had this happen in his R-Pod this past weekend and it turned out to be the winterization valve on the hose that you would stick in the antifreeze jug was open. This caused the pump to suction air and would never get to pressure. If you opened a faucet all he would get is a dribble of water. Once I closed the valve all was normal.
