Have no idea what a "heave" tarp is, but if you have to much wind, don't do it.Just sayin'

If you had the 5" fence post cover mounted under trailer, and cut the vinyl gutter sections to fit, you can also use the gutter for a sewer hose support after mak'n a couple different height stands.......100% better than the accordion style, and still have use of it for winter awning cover
