Is there a good reason to remove the water filter?
Would you place the 2" memory foam over or under the heated mattress?
What is and where do you mount the 5" fence post w/ gutter tray Poop-Tube carrying device?
1. Many folks have had trouble with the clear filter cover coming loose and putting water all over their camper. (I haven't had problems with mine.)

2. We put our 2" memory foam on top. Didn't seem to hurt the heat from the mattress.

3. The fence post is from Home Depot (sometimes hard to find) and the gutter inside is from Lowes. Mount it under your frame. Lots of folks do it many different ways. If you're comfortable drilling holes in your frame, you can strap it up. I used stainless steel nuts/bolts/fender washers and "clamped" it to the flange of the frame. See attached pics and diagram of the mounting.

If the water filter is removed from the interior, how does one filter the water from the on-board FW tank.

Is this something I need? We just slide the sewer hose inside of the fender. Pop off the black cap and slide it in, replace the square black cap, done.

Some have trouble making it fit in the bumper, the elbows won't fit, and it can cause rusting inside the bumper tube. I've been thinking about adding the stinky slinky holder, might do it this coming spring.

I think you meant bumper, not fender.
most use the bumper for hose storage. The stock black end caps will often fall out, so watch them. There are better options than those stock caps.
