How long

I ordered my new Rockwood Roo 233 s about 4 weeks ago . The dealer hasn't received confirmation or anything yet. Has anyone else ordered a Rockwood Roo and if so how long did you have to wait

When we were shopping in August we were told the wait was anywhere from 8-14 weeks. We were lucky that we got one in exactly as we wanted

We ordered our Shamrock 23IKSS on Aug. 02 and took delivery on Oct. 04. I am pretty sure that they are made on the same line at the factory.

8-10 weeks is pretty standard .
although it may be done in 8 weeks, delivery can sometimes be an issue as well.

We ordered our 23SS on August 2nd. Did not get confirmation for over a month. Finally supposed to be ready for shipping next Wednesday (Oct 16th). Wait is killing us!
However we were able to go to the factory last week of September, They have started building Roo's in a new building and are supposed to start doing 50 units a day due to all the orders. They lost only a week by moving to the new facility. (Great tour by the way - if you ever get a chance, by all means do it, really cool)

Look on the bright side - if you ordered a power awning - it comes with the LED lighting, Stoves now have a glass two piece top, and the brakes on the Dexter axles have been upgraded to the Never Adjust brake systems. We were told there was a price increase that went out to dealers on September 16th. Not sure how much they went up though....

we ordered our since Sept 10th just before the price increase. I hope the quality won't suffer with them trying to put out 50 units a day now. It looks like by the time I get it will be too cold to use it here in Michigan. Now that means I will be wasting five to six months of warranty . That is an issue to me. I will have to talk to the dealer about that

How Long

Yes, I was wondering about that as well. Make sure you sign up for the second year warranty for your Roo. From reading the forum, dealers tend to try and sign you up for extended warranties themselves and have even conveniently left that page out of the info packet. If I remember correctly, second year warranty for Roo is only $150.

They started production in the new building early September. We hope quality issues aren't a problem either!

We're Michiganders as well. Hoping to get the Roo in time to use it on a fishing trip late this month

Wow! We did too! Small world isn't it. It's the closest dealer for us. I have heard nothing but great things about A&S and their service department. I guess we will find out. Our first two popups were thru General RV so we have no experience dealing with A&S yet.

Good luck, - BTW - once you do get that confirm date, time really seems to slow down.

dado39;

Guess we will see how A&S RV takes care of us. Our 23SS is in and we (hopefully) take delivery today! We're all excited - just wish the weather was nicer. The ship out date we had was correct, so once you get a confirmation date from A&S (or FR) the ship date should be close to what they are telling you.
Looks like it might be "camp driveway" this week.
Woo Hoo!

Sweet! Glad to hear it's finally here for you. Since this is your first camper, make sure they do a thorough PDI with you. I thought they kind of blew through it quickly for ours but being a seasoned camper and all the research I had already done on the 23ss, it wasn't a big deal. There is a pdi list here in the forum library that is great for going through the camper. Enjoy your new Roo and welcome to the Roo crew!
