How much aisle space when 21ss slide is in?

Hi everyone....

Trying to figure out a few things before we take possession of the 21ss we have in production

The first question is wrt how much "aisle" space there is between the kitchen side and the slide with the slide all the way in. Our plan is to transport our mountain bikes (1-24", 1-26", and 1-29") inside the TT, but it just occurred to me that the 21ss slide is BIG! Thoughts?

Thanks!

MaryBeth

with the slide in, you will have enough room for a mountain bike. I can open the fridge and get to everything except the rear bunk with the slide in. If you are skinny enough (im not) you can even get into the bathroom.

Bear in mind that the couch sits back about a foot from the inside edge of the slide. See pic below

With the slide in, the edge of the carpet on the slide (seam in the pictures) stops just over the seam between the second and third "tile" from the left on the vinyl floor. Those tiles are 12" by 12"

Thanks for the info, Tim. It looks like these racks (singled) will work just fine, then. And then we get to use them when we get to our site!

SO EXCITED!

I think you will easily find room for your bikes. I went out and measured and took some pics. With the couch up there was about 33 inches from oven door to couch cushion. Of course there is more space in the door opening. The couch is about 59 inches wide. The area in between the table/benches and kitchen was about 23 inches. BTW the size of the "tiles" on my floor is actually 13" X 13" not the 12" X 12" mentioned in a previous post but I am sure there could be variation in materials used. Here are some pics of my 21ss with the slide in. (Please excuse the mess! Just returned from 2 1/2 week trip and have not finished cleaning up.)

Newtxs3,

That is way more room than I thought there would be. The racks I have ordered will definitely fit and it looks like there WILL be plenty of room for the bikes....and a whole lot more!

(Like the shoe rack mounted near the door, too. Great idea!)
