Hybrid Popout Canvas Repair

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I didn't see anything specific to my issue, but I'm trying to see if anybody makes a good canvas patch kit. I have two very small pin holes on the top of one of our canvases on our 08 Rockwood Roo 232, and I need it fixed without having to buy all new canvas at $400-500. Any ideas? Thanks

Do you have a boat top or convertible roof repair place by you? I've had them repair a soft bed cover before.

I'm sure we have some kind of boat repair place close. I'm about 15 mins from Lake Conroe.

Depends on the size. If they are indeed pin holes, seam sealer should do it. You can get it at any store that sells tents, such as wal mart, target, etc.
These same stores sell patch kits for larger repairs

There is a product called flexible invisible liquid stitch that is perfect for what your trying to do. It's available in a4 oz can with brush applicator. I tried to attach a photo of the product but it wouldn't allow attachments.

On amazon you can order a small kit for patching fishing waders. They are very strong.

I just saw on another thread that someone recommended this, so I just ordered some from Amazon. Hopefully it fixes the problem.

I looked at some of that, but a bunch of reviews stated that it doesn't stick to canvas well at all.

Used it on a L shaped tear on my Roo23SS... had it on for almost a full season before I changed the canvas out... cleaned it with alcohol first on both sides... never leaked or pealed.

Canvas on a Roo is not all that much different than the awning material...

Some dummy ripped a hole in the canvas of one bunk last year. (Dummy = me). I tried awning repair tape but it did not last. Used the clear flex seal in a can and just tested it in the rain. No leaks. I plan to test it more thoroughly but it looks good so far.

I wouldn't have an issues with small dabs of RTV sealant (flex seal, silicone type sealant) over the pin holes, RTV is a pretty stable product. And if applied correctly would last a long time. It's good enough for the jets I maintain, it would be fine on a camper.
