Hybrid sheet sizes

I need to get some bedding sheets for my two mattresses in my new shamrock hybrid. I am moving up from a Jayco 1207 PUP and these mattresses are much smaller than the PUP. What sizes will fit these mattresses? Brochure says they are 60x80, but what size does that reference to? Do you need to purchase special RV mattress sheets? The dealer also thought the beds were a different size, but they measure the same size.

I have a '04 Shamrock 232. I am able to use queen sheets on the larger bunk end. Previously, I had just used a flat sheet to cover the other bunk, as my kids used sleeping bags. We're going out this weekend and it will be warmer so I'm going to give full sheets a shot on that end. I'll let you know how it works out!

Good question. I was about to ask the same. On our old popup we just used old household sheets with garter clips on the corners to hold the sheets in. That didn't work so well. I'd much rather have fitted sheets specific to the mattress.

I'd think the variety of thicknesses would require manufacturer-specific sheets to fit properly. Do they exist?

I asked the same question...We ended up ordering sheets from AB Lifestyles. They make sheets for mattresses that come in the hybrids. They are more expensive, but what we liked was the idea of a fitted flat and top sheet.

@JWHybrid2B The mattresses in our 21dk measure 60×75, so they are considered a short queen.

Thanks for the reference. We went with second hand stuff out of our house in our popup but are looking for something more satisfying in the hybrid. Custom fit sounds like it fits the bill.

I bought regular queen fitted sheet and got out the sewing machine and shortened it six inches. Fun, easy project and no waiting.

I went to Walmart and purchased some inexpensive queen sheets, fitted and top, and they seem to work fine. I did not need to alter them.

I use flat sheets and tuck under the mattress. This makes for an easy, inexpensive, perfect fit.

I've used regular Queen size sheets from Costco for our short queen - they have elastic all the way around on the fitted sheet, and it pulls it in plenty to fit. I like having a longer top sheet anyway, so this was the perfect solution for us.

Silly question - I keep reading about everyone using mattress toppers, but since the mattresses are heated, are you using the topper on top, or underneath the standard mattress?

I just took delivery of a new 21DK with the new style of mattress. It's very comfortable without a pad.

Ours is on top. Heater still works fine.

We also have the Jersey sheets from Walmart for all the beds, fits over the Memory foam and the mattress. On the couch and dinette the elastic pulls it up to fit nicely.
When using the heat on the mattress it keeps the foam toasty enough where your not rolling over onto a freezing cold spot
