(Im)patiently awaiting our new Roo

Well we've done it! Our new 21ss is at the dealership. We're eagerly awaiting the day we can bring her home.

It has the saddle interior and cherry decor option. I wasn't sure how well it was going to coordinate, but I think it's gorgeous.

I'll be sure to come back and post pics, just as soon as I can.

One more week. The countdown is on. Next Saturday at this time, I'm sure we'll be setting her up in driveway.

Went for our first trip. Stayed at Pinery Provincial Park and had a great time. I am the DH of The Baker's.

Here's the new toy!

Congratulations to all on your new Roos. As a Roo owner for three years, please keep an eye on water or excessive moisture in the front and/or rear bed areas. I know that Forest River has done some modifications since the 2007 model but be aware that there has been an issue. If you have problems, take the unit back to your dealer ASAP and get it documented.

Visit the forum pages often to see what issues others are having and how they are resolving them.

I love camping in our Roo but I am extremely disappointed with our dealer and Forest River for after purchase (especially after warranty) support.

Well what a season! 63 nights and thousands of kilometers traveled. Lots of beer drank and mosquitoes swatted. Camp fires and bike rides. Sun, sand and surf! What am I going to do for the winter? Work gets in the way!!

Bought a new TV.

Looking forward to the spring and some epic journeys!!

Congratulations, I hope you have a lot of fun in your new Roo. We just sold our 06 26RS after 5 great years of fun. It was a super unit with very few problems. Hope you have the same luck we did.

I am sure you will like it. I is very big inside because these mini lite and the roo's are 96 inches wide a size that you dont see often in small trailers. Other competitors are 85 inches and 90 inches wide. This difference make a big difference inside specially if you have a slide. Good luck.

Livin' right when I'm camping!

We always camped with my parents and always wanted to get our own. Just never bit the bullet. Wasn't sure if was would use it enough. Bought a mint used tent trailer the year before and realized quickly that it wasn't what we really wanted. Well we took the plunge and bought the trailer. New wasn't much more than good used. Had to get the bigger TV. The Colorado just wasn't big enough. So, ouch, splurge, happy I did it!! 63 nights in 2010. I think I got my use of it. Taking August off next year and planning a trip somewhere. Don't really care where just somewhere!!
