Interior Bulb

I own a 2011 Rockwood Roo 19. On our first trip the bulb over the stove on the range hood blew. I am unable to see the number on the bulb since it has worn off. I also have had no luck with the camper owners manual or the dealer that I purchased it from. If anyone could share any information on this I would appreciate it.

I replaced that light bulb with an LED but can't recall what connector it used. Possibly the same as any other light in my Shamrock but I'd have to double-check.

If your range hood is a Heng's then the bulb is 12v type 912 bulb. Just lost ours too this past weekend and called Heng's customer service. Click Hengs Industries for info.

Same here - I changed it to an LED (36 SMD) it has the same connector as the other bulbs in the trailer.

Got the LEDs from eBay - shipped from China for under $3 each- I changed all of them. Little power consumption now.

You can get a 912 at any auto parts store, even Wal Mart. A 921 is the same physical size, only brighter. This is a common bulb in the third brake light on autos.

I have a similar problem. The bulb in my Winntec range hood in my 2012 VCross VFK27 blew, and I couldn't read the number. The hood label stated maximum of 10 watts, but I couldn't find a 10 watt bulb. I found a 7.5 watt bulb, but the light is too dim to be useful. A 922 bulb puts out great light, but is 12.5 watts and burned a hole in the plastic diffuser. Like BBQ, I found the user's documentation and the dealer to be useless.

I ordered an LED replacement, but it doesn't fit - the assembly is too wide for the fixture. Any ideas for conventional or LED replacements? Can I use a xenon-filled bulb, or do they run hot like halogens?

Ditto - I replaced my hood light with a 921, it is brighter than a 912.

912 / 921 Wattage

No surprise that it's brighter - the 912 is listed at 13 watts; the 921 18 watts if I'm looking at the documentation correctly. Both too much for my wimpy hood. Sorry to coattail onto this thread - I should start a new one in the VCross section.
