I tried to link my phone to the radio but it asked for a password. As I am the second owner I don't know the former owners password. Can I delete and redo the password?
Hello, I don't have this system, but try holding the power button for five seconds. It should turn off and reset to factory defaults. Then when you power it back, it should let you do your own password. Hope this helps
JoePK is correct. Per the owners manual, here are the specifics for doing a factory reset:
FACTORY DEFAULT RESTART
Press and hold POWER button for 5 seconds - Unit will
shut off. Restart unit by pressing the ON button. Factory
defaults will be reset with this type of restart.
Have you tried 1234 or 0000? I believe those 2 sets of numbers is the factory default. Most people never change the password.
