Its here!

Yesterday was a good day in more ways than one.

#1, My 21SSL arrived (at 5:30 am!). Due to reason #2 I did a speedy but thourough checkout on it. The only dings were the center clearance light on back was burnt out, and the back to the inflatable hide-a-bed couch somehow got disconnected off its linkage. It looked like the couch was broken, but upon examination, we found that its designed to separate, and the latch must not have been fully seated. Latched it back up and all was well.

#2, Back on March 20th, the plant were I work experienced a catastrophic electrical explosion/fire. Thankfully, nobody was hurt, but almost the entire 2300 volt power distribution system was utterly destroyed. All the switchgear, overhead wires, and underground cables were smoking, melted ruins. I'm the plant electrical engineer, so of course, this landed right in my lap.

Here is a video taken during the event:

Substation Meltdown - YouTube

Yesterday, after 34 straight days of 14-16 hours days rebuilding the power disribution system in the plant, we turned the power back on and began starting up the plant.

Thats why I had to rush checking out the Roo. The plant should be fully spun up and back in production by tomorrow night (monday) and then I am going to bed for a week.

Pictures and a full review of my new Roo to come in a day or so...

Dude, that video is crazy.

How loud was that? God, that hum, or roar actually, from the electricity gives me chills in my spine.

Thank goodness no one was hurt. You should be proud to have been able to restore it so the plant could re-open. Congratulations on both the re-opening and your new trailer. Now, go get some sleep and then start making mods on the trailer.
