Just finished our shake down and have questions
We just finished our first trip with our 2016 Roo 23ss. We noticed during the pdi that the zippers on both bunk ends for the emergency exit don't open all the way. The zipper had been sown across with fabric from the first zipper. The actual window zipper works fine, it's just the exit zipper that opens 3/4 of the way. The dealer said they had never seen that before and they would replace the tenting. Before I drag the camper 400 miles round trip back to the dealer, has anyone seen this before? I'd hate to take it back to the dealer and have them tell me it's supposed to be like that. In an emergency, I don't think the screen only opening 3/4 of the way is going to stop anyone from getting out. The only reason I can think of to get it fixed is resale value, hopefully a very, very long time from now.
Also, about 5-7 minutes after turning off a faucet, the water pump would turn on for a second. Then about 7 minutes later it wound turn on for a second again. After the pump doing this 1-2 more times, the pump would stay off until we opened a faucet again. I opened all the sealed cabinets and followed the water lines all over the camper and didn't see any leaks. There was a small leak at the water pump, about the size of three quarters put together after 24 hours, but I tightened the screws on the front of the pump and that stopped it. Is this common for the pump to turn on for a second occasionally? I wondered if it was still just working air out of the system.
Thanks for all your help!
