If you don't want to lug it around you can always build it in like we did on our trailer. We Discover Canada And Beyond: Custom Made Generator Box For Our RV

This is in the Hybrid trailer section. There is no hybrid made that has any place for that big of a generator.

Being a fellow Phoenician, I bought a Lifan 3600...it has enough peak power @3100 watts to kick start my AC and keep it running. Only thing it is not fuel injected, so has to be adjusted for altitude. Below 4000' it's fine....it's fairly quiet for a genny. Almost comparable to a Yamaha or Honda at twice the price.
