"Season" the bunks and you should be fine. The thread used is slightly smaller than the holes the thread runs through. By wetting the bunks (seasoning) you swell the thread and seal up the holes. Your dealer should cover this and if not the Forest River paperwork you will receive has a write-up on this. Also many threads on this forum about this. The 183 is a great camper - enjoy!
