Very Excited to join the family. The 16 model is there any complaints of leaking through the bunk doors?

"Season" the bunks and you should be fine. The thread used is slightly smaller than the holes the thread runs through. By wetting the bunks (seasoning) you swell the thread and seal up the holes. Your dealer should cover this and if not the Forest River paperwork you will receive has a write-up on this. Also many threads on this forum about this. The 183 is a great camper - enjoy!

I have a 2014 183 Shamrock and have never had a leak yet. I have camped about 11 weeks so far this year. But I keep it under a tarp "garage" when I am not using it to help prevent any sun damage. Wipe the perimeter of the bunk sealing surface before putting it back up and you should be fine. FR has improved the bunk end sealing since 2012 and before I believe.

Check the brake wiring under the unit. Mine was dangling...
