Kitchen sink low water pressure? 23IKSS

From day one, kitchen sink water pressure has been significantly lower than the bathroom sink's. Just a 1/4" stream of water even with cold and hot fully on.

Is that normal? If not, is there a restrictor or regulator valve somewhere?

I would check the water line from sink on back as there maybe an obstruction. If it has a screen on the faucet remove it check there also. You could try and blow some air through the line but use low pressure 20#. Later RJD

X2, usually has pieces of plastic in the screen at the faucet.

Question

When I picked-up my 17 I had very little water pressure at my kitchen faucet. Bathroom and showers were fine. I removed the screen on my kitchen faucet and found a white plastic disc inserted behind the screen. Removed disc and everything was great. I assumed that this was put in at the factory for testing or shipping purposes.

The white plastic belongs there. It is the airiator. It gets clogged with grit. Must be cleaned and reinstalled.

Check under counter water linr

same problem. Check your under counter water line. If it has an inline joint/connection, unscrew it. Contains a restricter/filter that gets clogged.

There was two white plastic discs. One was the aerator which I left in place. The other was almost solid with only a very tiny pin hole in the center, which when I removed the kitchen sink faucet worked properly.

I had that problem and it was a kinked line behind one of the drawers under the sink so check for something like that.

I disassembled the faucet head and found the same disc in there as rocknroos. Definitely a restrictor. I pried it out and all is now well.

Fake flats on the faucet outlet threw me for a little loop, that part does not unscrew, the whole head comes off with a set screw underneath.

Not sure why the need to restrict the kitchen sink but not the bathroom.

Some people have reported a restrictor where the shower hose connects to the faucet.

We just purchased a Roo 19 last weekend and I noticed the same issue with the water pressure. I checked the kitchen faucet tonight and sure enough I found a restrictor with the small hole. In addition, I found a lot of glue and piping burrs leftover from construction. Cleaned everything out and normal pressure has been restored.

Ironically, this piece (restrictor) causing the grief for so many is intended to conserve water but is better suited for domestic applications where water pressure may be higher. Ill suited for RVs, especially if you're running off the pump.

Our mh kitchen sink has a pull out flexible hose to faucet head. Under sink the hose connects to the main faucet assembly with a set screw. Loosen the screw and the hose comes off without turning. Found plastic (like furniture wrap or Teflon pipe tape) in end of hose. Removed that plastic and all was good.
