Kitchen Slide Out Shamrock 23IKSS Question

They dealer wasn't much help on this one. Just picked it up yesterday. How do you manually close/open the kitchen slide out? Near as I can figure from the factory literature, you have to disconnect the power and just push/pull it by hand. The other slide out uses a wrench but the kitchen side use a different method of operation.

That's what I was told at my PDI. Disconnect battery and push.

I believe their is a crank under the sofa slide that is why their are 2 different cranks. Kind of hard to find

The slide is manufactured by Lippert under the Schwintec name. It has a controller in the fixed door cabinet under the television/radio console and uses two stepper motor on either side to move the slide. There is no manual crank override to bring in the slide.

There is documentation on their website explaining how you can electrically bypass any fault to control the unit. You might find the FAQ section is quite helpful in answering some our your questions.

I believe you will find the two cranks are for the dinette/couch slide and for the power jack on the tongue. The dinette/couch slide can be accessed for the step area and the power jack on the tongue can be accessed by removing the level on the top of it.
