Last Trip of Season?

Question.

This is my first season having a camper and wanted to get a couple of more trips in before it got cold. I know this is a very general question, but when do most of you pack up and winterize for the season?

If you winterize in November do you still go out in like December if its nice weather and just do not use any of the plumbing or water? Just dry camp?

thanks

First of all where are you located?
For me in Utah we camp until around mid October and then do a final wash and wax and cover for the season.
That usually gives me enough time to get everything winterized and put away before the snow flies.
But to each his/her own right?
I can say that this season has FLOWN by way too fast and October is round the corner. I'm not happy bout it.

We have been known to get snow in October here in NY. We usually close things up a little after Labor Day.

We are in Maryland. We've been known to have nice weather in December or wicked winter in November I'm hoping to get at least two more trips in before we close up. We went a total of 4 times this year and that wasn't enough. However each time was a good solid trip of enjoyment and good experiences.

I live in Wisconsin and do a Halloween camp out. The first or second week in November the trailer gets ready for winter.

I winterize a few weeks into October. We end the season on Columbus Day weekend as most campgrounds up here in NE close then. I relax for a bit once I am home and then give thought to winterizing it.

Our first hard freeze is usually in late October. I watch the forecast and winterize when that is imminent. After that we might dry camp with water in a blue jug for drinking and brushing teeth and campground toilets. Fall camping is fun!
