LED Interior Lights Replacement ?

Ok so the interior LED lights seem to be hard wired on a little circuit board on my 2015 Roo does anyone know how to replace them? I was going to get 1-2 extra bulbs just to have and then realized they are hard wired ugh

They'll probably outlast the fixture. Most likely replace the whole fixture at that time. Typical MTBF (mean time before failure) of LEDs are ~50000hrs. They do lose brightness over time but probably not enough for you to notice if they are extra bright now. If the board is manufactured badly the solder joints could fail from vibration.

Mine are the same.
No way I know to replace the permanently mounted LED wafer.
If you are looking to dim, you have two options.
An in line voltage step-down converter or an in line pulse-width dimmer.
HERE and HERE.

At least they use warm white leds. A lot of the first ones out were cool white which gives off a bluish light. I hate rooms lit with higher K cool white lighting.

You could try tinting the lens.

You replace the whole fixture; about $15 online, usually. Are they ITC brand? Lots of defective ITC used in FR units!

Have you called the dealer or forest river warranty to see if they will replace? This has been a big problem with the led lights. I have replaced 2 in my 2015 V lite under warranty. Dealer just shipped second led replacement last week to my home. You have to remove the burned out led for the dealer to warranty. Not hard to change. Remove 2 screws and pull down on fixture to remove. caution when removing the led from ceiling watch out for the springs on the side of the fixture!!!! The spring will definitely hurt if they get you. I cut the wires close the the led light to give me lots of wire to splice new led wires to wires from old led harness.

Hope this helps Tim

The warranty info is correct and the manufacturer is even replacing some of them that are outside the factory warranty if you contact them. The problem I'm having is a super lousy dealer that won't respond to me and destroys more stuff than they fix if you bring it in. Currently, I have six of the twenty fixtures in my Legacy out with what seems like more bad ones each time I turn on the lights! FR acknowledges the issue and will send the replacements, but only if requested by a dealership. I've been trying to get the dealership to send them to me but so far they don't even return calls! Sorry for the confusion on the price I posted - that's what you can get them online for if you decide to replace them outside the warranty. I figured I might well need to just do it myself after not being able to get the dealership in gear.

We had six interior LED lights fail on a brand new Flagstaff TT last summer. Good thing we were in the Arctic and it does not really get dark in the summer. I have no idea how hard they are to change because I had them fixed when I got home under the warranty. There was no RV dealer where we were that could fix them and there was no RV dealer at all where we were. Not for hundreds of miles anyway until we got back near Grande Cache, Alberta

Since LEDS are made to out last regular bulbs 10 to 1 i would see it there is a warranty on the bulb/ fixture?
