Led's for 2013 233s

Hi guys. Thanks for all the great information over the last year! I have a 2013 Rockwood Roo 233s and I would like to know the light bulb part #'s so I can order Led's. I like the white light much better as well as the battery savings. Also, do you have any recommendations on where or who to order them from?

Happy New Year!

Craig

Craig, I'm away from my trailer but IIRC all of the interior lights take a T10 Wedge Base LED bulb, which replaces the OEM bulb types 912 or 921 wedge base bulb in an RV.

I would pull a bulb in your trailer if I were you and double check just to make sure.

As for who to buy from, many buy Chinese bulbs via EBay. I'd list the sellers that I had bought from a couple of years ago but they're gone.

The Ebay bulbs are inexpensive but can be fragile. Order a bunch and try them out. This is also a good way to find if you like "warm white" or "bright white" and what level of brightness you like. Some of these LED bulbs can be too bright for certain areas in our trailer. It's personal and you will find what works best for you.

The better LEDs can be found online at specialty shops, often auto lighting specialists, although quite a few RV places are selling them now, too. Superbrightleds.com is a well known site to look at.

Happy New Years to you, too!

I'm sorry. My trailer and bunk fans are buried in the snow until spring. I won't get in till late April or early may. Good luck though and happy camping.

Dude...
Thats just not acceptable. I am just a little south of you and buried in snow also. Get out the shovel and get to work! Of course...I'm kidding.

After I posted that I found these and am wondering if they will work in the Roo's. I have no clue what the 357 Lumens means in terms of brightness and if thats brighter than what is standard in the Roo. In fact, since I dont get my Roo for another four weeks it's a distinct possibility that the bunk lights are LED's also. The rest of the camper is minus the hood light on the oven/stove.

I picked up my 21SS on 2/9 and I do have LED lights so I would guess you will too. I didn't check the fan/light combo that goes over the beds but can next time I go to the camper. Unfortunately I was there this morning putting my filled propane tanks back on.

FYI, I got them filled at Costco for $20ish total. I think RVW wanted $60 something.

Please do check the next time you go back...if you would! I'd be interested in knowing if those bunk lights have LED's or not. You should check the oven hood light too. I dont think that had an LED either.

$60 for two propane fills? Hmmm. There must be some sort of propane embargo to Ohio that I am unaware of.

Will do.

I'm kind of glad it was cold and I didn't want to go camp nearby so I didn't haev to pay their high price. When I bought my popup in 2001, it came filled.

I bought the LEDs for my popup from Super Bright LEDs. I was very happy with their product and service.

Once we take delivery of our 233S on Thursday, I will take inventory of the bulbs to see what I need to order to replace them all. A real power saver.
