Level master mounting

Just wondering if you have a level master and where did you mount it. Was thinking lower drivers side area. Also, not sure about just screwing it in like this with some stainless sheet metal screws and caulk? Thought I'd ask before wrecking something.

Mine came with some stout two sided foam tape (for previous rigs w/o level up). Then I got some very small, short screws to secure it and put caulk around the screw before screwing it in. Got a smaller level to mount on the side for front to back. Some folks put them in the middle of the front so they can see them easier while backing up.

I taped mine temporarily to the front fiberglass window cover on the TT and moved it a couple of times until I could see it in my rear view mirror. When I was happy with the location, I drilled 2 small holes in the window cover and mounted with small, 1/2" long, stainless steel bolts, washers and nylocs. It is not centered in the cover, it is directly behind the drivers seat. Works well for me.

I like FordHauler's idea of placing it where you can see it in the rearview. Since you have to add leveling blocks to correct side to side tilt I'd want to see how far off it as soon as I backed onto a site. That way I could pull forward and add the blocks I needed and back onto them. I have it mounted onto the pin box of our current RV.

I'd be able to see it in this location so when I pull it up on the Anderson levelers I'd know where to stop. Think I will use some stainless screws and rubber washers and mount it by the light because it is dark sometimes when we get to the site

I mounted mine the same place that you are showing. This thing played with my mind a little because a bubble goes to the high side where the ball goes to the low side!
