Ambient air temperature?
Thermostat temperature setting?
20 or 30 pound bottle?

Lots of factors.

How many gallons in the tank and how many BTUs for the furnace... do you have one or two furnaces?

The unknowns will be the temperature outside and what temp do you set the thermostat at?

Do you know how many minutes per hour does it run?

Here is something I posted awhile back....

Too many variables to give an answer.
But we can go the whole camping season with both tanks.

And i've camped in my htt in the 20's with temp set in 60's and used a 20 lb tank in a weekend...but i expected that with tent ends lowered.

I think you mean a Roo 183 (from your previous posts)... and you have two 20# propane tanks...

If you are camping without being hooked to electric, then your 12 V battery powering the furnace fan will die before you run out of propane.

If you are on electric shore power, then your propane should last at least a week depending on outside temps... and how high you set the thermostat... but then IF YOU ARE hooked to electric you should invest in one or two cube heaters (about $30 each) and a small fan for air circulation in the HTT. That way you use NO propane and will be as warm as toast as long as the electric is FREE with your campsite rental.

We use an electric plug heater to supplement the propane and keep the AC fan running without the AC on to keep air circulating.

you can use a bottle in a weekend if its cold and your running furnace. I haven't used 1 bottle yet in 2 years. Over 80 nights worth of camping and thousands of miles of fridge running.

Unless you are dry camping or boondocking, using an electric ceramic heater(or something similar)is a must to supplement the furnace.

Same here...we used a 30 lb tank in 4 days with night temps about 28 and daytime highs in the 35-38 range...and we did use supplemental electric heater at night...and had blinds open during the day to let as much sunshine in as we could.
