Returned a couple of weeks ago from Rocky Mountain National Park. On the return leg we did the drive in one day (RMNP to Kansas City). Total of around 670 miles. Best advice, put the pedal to the metal and give up any hope of getting double digit mileage.

You should have no worries on a trip like that. We just made a trip from Ohio to the Black hills and on to Yellowstone. Just under 5k miles round trip. Total driving time for the 2 weeks was 105 hrs. We hade zero problems. I suggest that you start off with good tires and re-pack your wheel bearings if you haven't all ready done so. Sunflower seeds will keep you occupied while driving long distances.

Thanks for all the help everyone. I've been looking the Roo over even though its brand new, checking everything, making sure I know how to change a tire on the trailer, and I have all the tools I might need for anything. Looking forward to it.

I am curious now after reading this thread, anything special in changing a camper tire, or with dual axels?

No....I was just making sure I had the right tools. Bottle jack, a sturdy base to put the jack on, and where to actually lift the trailer. Other than that, nothing different.

If you have dual axels, research "trailer aid". No reason to mess with a jack. I have changed tires on a horse trailer with a trailer aid (with a horse in the trailer), they work great and are very stable.

YEP, this thing Trailer-Aid - Camco TRAILER AID - Towing Accessories - Camping World is pure genius!
The sales lady where I'm picking ours up tomorrow said her salesman was on the interstate and passed an RV with a flat. He had one of these in his truck so he stopped to help.
RV owner bought it from him on the spot.

+1 It wont lift mine high enough to get a tire off the ground due to the equaflex either.

I tried the Trailer Aid out before I left and was able to get each of my wheels off the ground. Better to know in my driveway that on the side of the interstate!

I used mine when I was pumping grease into the bearings one at a time and able to spin them, works great.
Sorry, just realized we are totally off subject.

One thing I found was that my lugs were too tight for any of my hand wrenches. I backed them off with the impact wrench, took them back up to the recomended torque and check them often.
Trailer Aid is a good thing. Should work great with the Roo.
Beyond that, I once read that pie can save your life. Stopping once in a while can increase blood flow cutting down risk of drowsiness, slow reactions and thrombosis. I have a superficial clot one time and read up a lot on DVT.
Oh yeah, remember
