Longer Awning

My 2006 Shamrock 19 has a Dometic Sunchaser awning that is roughly 3/4 of the length of the trailer and the front support arm splits the window. It's in terrible shape. The canvas is ripped on the front and deteriorating all along the seam where it meets the roof. Even the hardware has seen better days.
I'm wondering if I can install a larger awning, a complete replacement? One that would run basically from the back of the gudder to the front? The only reason I can see that you may not be able to is if where the base of the support arms where it screws into the trailer it is specifically reinforced only where the existing awning is attached and not forward where I would want to attach a bigger one.
Has anyone done this? Does it take any major modifications?

I don't know where your trailer is reinforced. But looking at the picture the right end of the top rail where the awning attaches is forward of the window. The existing awning size was either by owner choice or factory installed. I would think that it will take a full length awning to match the top rail without any problem.

Thanks all.
I think I know what I'm asking for for Christmas.
