Looking at the Barker VIP3500 electric jack

To replace the one that came with my 2014 233s. I tried to reply to a thread via search but it said I couldn't reply because the thread was so old. Anyways, does anyone know which one I should get? The 3000 or the 3500? I'm a little concerned about the height.

I know Triguy stated he had one on his 233s Shamrock, does anyone know if there are any differences in bunk height to frame with the 2014 Roos?

I contacted Barker and they said they need 23" of clearance for their jacks. I can't measure the distance from the bunk to the A frame because it's at the dealer right now. I guess I'll run to the dealer possibly this weekend and take a quick measure.

I can't help you with measurements, but I have run Barker jacks for several years now and they work great. All of my campers will always have them. They look about 50,000 times better than the Lippert ones, too, IMO.

I went ahead and ordered it. From what I've been researching here, it'll fit and nothing but good things about them. Looking forward to installing it here in the next week or so!

They are great units...you won't be disappointed. I've had a 3500 for three years now.

I think the two models have different tube diameters. 2 inch and 2 1/4 inch.

X2 - make sure what your current diameter jack is to make sure you are buying the right size replacement.

Yea the dealer measured it and said it was 2 1/4" so I ordered the 3500. Should be coming in today.

I ordered the 3500 today as well. I'm tired or cranking the jack up and down for the weight distributing hitch!
