Looking for storage mod ideas for our 23IKSS

We are taking delivery of our 2016 Roo 23IKSS in April and we are looking ot add some sliding shelves in the pantry. What have people done? We have looked at some different ideas in stores, but the dimensions are just a little big for the space? Same with adding a few shelves in the linen closet in the bathroom.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The bathroom linen closet already has shelves in it, I think you will find there is an abundance of storage in this camper!

I did not put sliding shelves in the pantry...but I did put shelves in the wardrobe cabinet by the back bunk, and this is the easy way I found to do it:

I went to Home Depot and bought 3 of those pre-finished shelves that you would hang with brackets in your house. The ones I got were 6' long, and 12 inches wide (which are actually 11-1/4"). The are a really good fit width wise in that closet. I also bought 16 shelf clips. I cut down 2 of the boards to be a few inches shorter than the bottom to the ceiling inside the closet.

If I recall, I measured out 12", 24", 36" and 48" from the bottom and 1" from the front and back edges, drilled 1/4" holes (for the pins on the shelf clips) and put them inside the closet against the walls with the clips to the inside. I may be off a bit, I remember I spaced them out to add four shelves. You could drill additional holes if you want to make the shelves adjustable.

Then I measured the distance between the clips and cut the last board into shelves to fit. I think it ended up about 14 inches or so. I made them for a snug fit. The shelves hold the sides in place, no need to drill into the camper walls. So I ended up with 5 compartments in that wardrobe and I can remove them if ever needed with no evidence that they were ever there! It will be perfect for our clothes.

Unfortunately, we just got hammered with a big storm here in Mass! So I'm not gonna trudge out to the camper to take a few pictures, but as soon as the weather clears I can snap a few and figure out how to post them.

Ooh...Would love to see pictures of that, as that sounds exactly like what I've been wanting to do w/that wardrobe closet. So far, we've bought storage bins for the insides of most of the upper storage cabinets & the bathroom linen closet, and I found some clear fridge shelves at Walmart that fit nicely in the pantry & are pretty easy to pull out for access. Found some cloth baskets for lower rear I bunk shelf. Also bought a cushion for the wood area in front of the rear bunk so I can climb up without bruising my knees. :-)

We ended up putting modular wire baskets in our wardrobe. They fit perfectly. I ended up zip tying them together for better stability. Super cheap and super easy.

My two cents are that the 23IKSS has plenty of storage as is. We keep an electric broom in that wardrobe closet. It is nice to have a good space for a tall item, broom/mop. Good luck with the new camper, we also moved up from a pop-up last year and found the set up and take down to be much easier.

What our thinking was, the shelves in the pantry are quite tall and deep for the vertically challenged. So we are looking for a way to access the items in the back a little easier. We upgraded from a Jayco Jayfeather X17Z where space was lacking for us. We have actually been discussing how we are going to use all this new found storage efficiently.

Looks like the pics posted sideways...I think if you lay on your desk you will see them better!

The shelves look to be almost 20", I most likely bought (2) 6 footers and (2) 4 footers....

Those do look great. Thanks for braving the snow to snap those. I can't wait to pick up our new unit and start making it our own.
