Loose cabinets

Help! I just pulled my 19 shamrock out of storage and am starting to get her ready for the summer and I noticed that the whole lower cabinet section with the stove and sink is loose! Moves all around, it looks as if the screws holding them into the drywall have pulled out. Has anyone had this problem? Can I just use new 2" drywall screws to re-secure? Any other ideas? We're leaving tomorrow night and not sure if I should go or not. hhhhhEeeeeeeLlllllPppp!

Be careful as the wall are not too thick. Can you find an existing screw and use the same size located nearby. I can't remember how mine are secured but I presume you need to hit the vertical studs.

2" was a estimate. I can pull the existing ones out and match. We're the originals screwed into studs or just drywall? Did they use anchors? Seems cheezy.

As I remember mine are drywall type screws but there is no drywall in these RVs. Wall material is pretty thin to keep the weight down. I think the fastener have to go to something solid.

What really holds them down if the wall material is that thin?

I could be wrong but I think there is some aluminum sandwiched in the wall construction.

My bathroom upper cabinet became loose but I had it fixed under warranty.
But don't know how they fixed.
whatever they did, it hasn't been loose for over 7 years now.
