, but that windchill factor only applies if your skin is exposed to it...if you are in a tent or TT or RV, it aint windy inside...just say'n.
it is still darn cold though...
We started our backpacking trip this past December at Smokemont Campground in Great Smoky Mountains National Park and it was 6 F!!!, but not real windy...
The next question is... what is the coldest yall have camped in without the comfort of a heater?
Since moving here to the mountains, we really enjoy going to the Smokies and camping after the crowds have gone in November and the heater in the camper makes it quite comfy for sleeping...we typically set in the 60s, not 72...lol...dont want to run out of propane...
