Maiden voyage. What screen door?

Well, we just completed our maiden camping trip with our new Shamrock.
Everything worked like it was supposed to. Even with torrential downpour, canopies held and no leaks.
Next day was bright, sunny and hot and the PUGs worked as everyone said they would.

I only had one little dilemma.

We have a Greyhound pup that as my DW was returning from an afternoon walk, when she got close enough to the steps, she went right thru the bottom of the closed screen door and shredding the bottom portion.

Has anyone experience similar incidents? If so, how did you make repairs. It's not like a house/home screen door with the rubber channel which pinches the screen.

I also wonder if there some type of pass thru contraption so I don't gave to go thru this again.

We put plexiglass on the inside of our screen door held on by velcro it keeps the little dog from ripping the screen and it now acts like a storm door. I can take it off for the breeze or keep it on to help with temp. control and rain.
