Mattress flops down on hybrid

We have a new 2016 Shamrock 19 hybrid. The mattress on the front end tends to flop down over the dinette seat. Have any of you added straps to hold this mattress in place? If yes, please advise us and / or send photos. Thank you.

We took the sink cover and slid it between the mattress and the back of the dinette seat.

I added three or four shock cords to each bunk opening. Used picture hanging rings similar to these to attach the shock cord hooks. I used the wood screws that were already there to attach the rings. The rings fold flat and out of the way when the bunks are in use.

ON MY 183 the front and rear beds stay in place but the side one flops over... I used bungee cords from the cable hanger on each side to an anchor point using a D-ring I bought at Harbor Freight screwed low near the cabinet. That keeps the mattress in place. The front is kept in place by the dinette back and the cabinet near the door... probably a different floor plan then yours.

We use 3 flat bungee cords, never had a problem again.
