Max air II

Looked at the roof from my second floor window when I got home tonight and noticed the max air II vent cover was raised up about 3 inches towards the back of the cover. Appears it was lifted up when we opened the vent to far. Do others experience a restricted vent opening capability when using max airs?

I would guess the the back of the maxair is mounted too close to the opening edge of your vent. You can take the cleanable caps off the vent to check if its hitting and pushing you cover up when its being opened.

X2. Surprised the crank mechanism didn't break.

I don't think it would be possible to raise the MaxAir with the crank-open vent unless the rear mount is broken, loose, etc. I think you'll find something wrong with the mounting.
