Maybe a slow H2O leak??

We are in the middle of a 2 week camping trip in our new 21ss. Trying to conserve water & grey/black tank space. Left water pump on last night in case grandkids had to use the can. Nobody got up tp use bathroom but water pump came on twice. Could we have a small leak somewhere? Gonna start clearing stuff out to check. Had new Roo in driveway camp mode for a while before we left & never noticed this issue. Could it be normal? Thanks

Yes, you most likely have a very small leak somewhere.

Check the low point drains. Our popup had a small leak there that would kick the water pump on every once in awhile.

Yes you could have a small leak somewhere in your plumbing system and you should first check for that.

The pump could also be leaking/bypassing internally in the pump head.
There will be no leak to the outside, just loss of pressure in the plumbing system over a period of time making the pump run to satisfy pressure requirements.

X2

If you can't find it by eye, hold a paper towel around all the suspect areas and look for seepage. If not, I 100% agree internal pump leaking in the head past the umbrella valves. Not to worry, my last 2 TT's have done it too. When it does that, I'll bet it only lasts for less than a second. Rock on!

Thanks. Can't find leak anywhere. Got feeling that internal pump leak is culprit. Just lasts fraction of a second plus only 2x in good 8 hours.
Not to hijack this thread but:
One bigger concern is how the heck will I ever get the water filter housing outta there. REAL LOW on space to work in. Would attach pic but to pc illiterate. Maybe end of season I'll dig in & remove/bypass filter. Don't really need or want it. Had the housing on our whole house filter fail years ago while on vac. What a mess!!!!!! Thanks all for your help
