You should try the ones I got on ebay.
They are replacement mirrors for 250.00 .
Heated,power,turn signal indicator.
They manually slide out.

Look at it this way if you sell the truck take them off and install old ones then sell the aftermarket set.

2005 silverado towing mirror install.

Make sure you look up the correct application for your truck.

15 minute install per side

I used the Cipa mirrors on my Tundra, and while they worked well as intended it's not real comfortable since I'll have three mirrors going on. I have the main mirror, which has a spot mirror, then add the Cipa's and I've got three mirrors, so it gets a bit ackward to look at.
So my ultimate solution? Rear facing camera! I have a GPS unit with A/V input, went on found a very inexpensive wide angle camera and even found 30 feet of power/video combo cable. Boom baby! I see all! Don't even use the mirror extensions any more. Bonus- Backing is a piece of cake, I can get right up on anything with no assistance!
