MOD/upgrade- Interior lights

So I have done the closet to pantry MOD and today changed out the drawer under the bench seat for added storage and added a battery for now dual batteries. all three work perfectly.

Now I want to change out the stock interior lights to LED's to save power when we boondock.

can this be done by just swapping the bulbs or do I have to change out the fixtures?

Thanks

Yes you should be able to swap the bulbs out with LEDs. I did just that in it HM. My bulbs had a part number 920 on them. Found LED replacements on amazon.com

I posted a few pictures

Don't need to change the socket.

When you go to pick your light take some time to figure if you want warm (yellow tint) or cool (blue tint) and then get the brightness you want.

Interior lights I went with warm and as bright as I could go. Love it - great results.

I also switched out the exterior lights with super bright LEDs. Great result.

I bought from ...
http://www.superbrightleds.com/searc...0wedge%20bulb/

I had good service and the product was great.

Good luck

Great thanks folks,
Completed my LED upgrade I like the bright white, I like a lot of light and these do it just fine,

Also a pick of my drawer removal and replaced with a swing door, gives us much more room for storage.

my shelves in the cabinet (my first )

Now I have another question, I have these spaces near the ends of the TT , I am thinking of building shelves for clothes, they wont need to support a great deal of weight , I was wondering if anybody had done such a thing and perhaps some ideas ,, Thanks

This is in the front near radio

here is the space in the back( 10"x 18" ) space , about 35" high.

also an upgrade to come,
the new shower head, The Oxygenics head everybody has been recommending, it will be here is a few days,,

my list included a new T-Stat,

I really like the idea of shelves in the blank space next to the beds. I think I will keep that in mind.
