interesting mods!
would never have thought of doing the fireplace/cabinet mod, to our 23SS.

can it be changed back? because this mod may not be attractive to potential buyers, if you decide to sell in the future. especially families needing a dinette.

Yes it can be changed back if necessary, but this fits our needs and for two of us is works quite nicely.

Mods look awesome! I really want to do the stabilizing to the jacks but I need a really good guide or something for it. I'm not very handy!

Fireplace mod is unique. I have seen it in larger campers standard. Would not be used much by me as most of our camping is done in the warmer months. But still a nice touch. I personally would swap it out for a kegerator with tap on the outside of the camper. Now that would get you more friends than you want.

What is that bar holding the mattress up? Was that factory?

The bar was added to hold the mattress as we put the mattress upright prior to folding up the tent end. This method certainly makes closing up the ends much easier. The bar is closet rod and held by wood closet rod supports. Easy to install, remove and stow on the ledge next to the mattress.

Mods to 2011 Roo 23SS

What products did you use to move the ac vents closer to the beds?

I'm not the OP but, judging from the picture, plastic dryer vent hose diverted to the shelf above the beds, possibly with a vent drilled into the floor of the shelf with a hole saw.

Wow great job, I certainly won't show my wife that mod or I'll have to do it.

I took off our C style stabilizer jacks and put on 5,000 lb scissor jacks. Makes a huge difference

We have a fireplace in our Columbus 5er and it's great on a cool morning. Takes the chill off. You will love it! Great mods!
