Mounting Oxygenics Showerhead

Ok so how did you mount the shower head? I pulled the factory one off and there is only one screw hole for the Oxygenics? I don't want to screw it into the wall not knowing where the backer board is?

How about on the same place as the old one and use Gorilla glue also?

I would just double side tape the heck out of it and use the same screw hole as the old unit.

Used the one that came with the Oxigenics had no problem I used one of the old screw holes that it would cover the other hole. I put a little plumbers putty on the back to seal things.

X4. Don't overthink it. I do take it out and lay it in the tub when we break down for travel. It seems like it would stay put, but I feel better with it on the floor.

I installed mine this weekend and my wife loves the Oxygenics shower head. I removed the old one, installed with the included double-sided tape, but also used one of the screws from the old mount for the new mount, and for the other screw hole (under the screw-off bracket on the new mount), just drilled a new hole and screwed it in. We won't be switching back to the old shower head. The only detriment is that the new pressure blasts some water over the top of the shower curtain...careful aiming of the handheld unit fixes that.

Actually there are two holes in the Oxygenetics mount. The second hole is under the swivel mount. The swivel mount can be unscrewed to reveal the hole. Now, I'm not sure they will match the existing holes so I just used the mount that was already installed. I did not like the angle the new mount aimed the water.
Anyway, as stated, once you use it you will never go back...

X2 on the mounting...tape and 2 screws. They're short enough not to cause an issue
I went a step further and installed a single lever faucet. Seems like it is easier to adjust the temp and flow. Seems like we can take about 3 navy showers on about 7-8 gals. which is a plus considering the tank size

Ok so I mounted it with the one screw from the original factory unit I was not sure if the Oxygenics screw was too long for the wall and double sided tape not working well.

I lay in a towel down in the basin so it doesn't pull off the wall and bang around

Are the screw that come with the unit too long for the Roo shower wall? I may have to get some better two way tape and a little clear caulk to seal around the base.

I mounted mine higher than the original shower, and it sits at a better angle (down instead of towards the curtain). I used 3m super tape and I'll probably pull the darn wallboard off when I try to remove it, which will be NEVER.

Do the screws that come with work or are they too long?

If they are longer than the originals, simply cut them off with side cutters.

Mount shower head

I used 3-m double tape from lowes, used the screw hole in the center of the mount. Used a stainless 3/4" long screw. I always remove the head from the holder when traveling. I just lay it on the floor of the shower. I also replaced the Oxygenic shower hose with a more flexible stainless
hose.

Use the "Factory" hose clip, take a pair of wire cutters and snip the factory hose clip so you can put the Oxygenics Showerhead Hose in the factory clip when on the road and remove it when you are camping.

Done Deal
