That's why we get the soap on a rope...

And we got a trailer to not need to use the bath house so my wife would say. Even when we had our PUP it had a wet bath with shower and everything. Not cmaping... Glamping!

All the HighWall Pups have a good 7ft clearance in the Shower.

My guys don't think they fit in my Roo shower!

I agree with the shower being a great part of owning a trailer and it is a big reason I bought the dk with the big tub shower. That said, I would think the small gray tank would be more of a deterrent than low ceiling if you have that many people showering.

We conserve water by taking a Navy shower. Wet down, turn off the water, soap up and wash your hair, then turn the water back on to rinse. If we want to stand under a stream of water, then we use the campground showers. My biggest gripe with ours is that the new Oxygenics shower head swivels in the holder. I'd rather it stayed put so I don't spray the ceiling.

Did you use their holder or the stock one? Outs swiveled as well in the stock holder. I did not want to make another hole. I have since switched to the holder that came with the shower head and no more swivel or sag.

Why would I buy a camper with a bathroom if I'm not going to use it? One could argue that staying in any campground with bath facilities isn't camping.
We have tent camped in the mountains before where the only running water was the creek. Compared to that, your Roo is a 5 star hotel.

My son led me to believe he could shower in the camper when I bought it. But now that we ladies have used it a bit, I realize how tight a space it is. The Oxygenics hits the curtain with force and the water goes right through the curtain, and I am mopping up water for that, or the curtain not staying closed. I can just imagine what will happen to the guys. We usually go to campgrounds with nice bathhouses, and the kids don't choose the rv shower there. I'm trying to get the camper set up for dry camping, and then there won't be a choice. Thanks so much you tall guys who responded, at least I know it can be done!

Ha! I'm showing this post to the hubby...he thought I was nuts for making him stand in the shower each time we looked at campers. Last thing I wanted to hear from him was he didn't fit.

Happy Camping!

Our shower has a FR installed bag near the top. We rest the Oxygenics head in there turned off and shower with it hand held, not in the holder. A woman posted some time ago about showering with the bathroom door closed and the fan set on medium to keep the curtain billowed away from your body. I tried it and I thought it was a great idea. We use or not use the camper showers depending on the condition/location of the campground showers. Nice having an option.

I'm the kind of dad that would look at the boys & say, "this is the trailer we've got. Don't like the shower then here is the package of baby wipes. The shower or the wipes. Make your choice."

Our son is 6'1" and big like a rugby player and he can not use the shower in our Roo19. He has to bend his neck.

I have a Roo 19.. and my shower head comes off.. hand held.. is it to hard to hold it over your head?.. I do.. I'm 5'8" and have to bend backwards to be "under" it.. so just as easy to hold it over my head.. get wet..put it back til I'm done soaping my hair.. then repeat?..

I will say that I did some mods to the shower to make it more usable. Without those, the stock shower might be less useful. The mods were:
- splash guards
- shower curtain clips
- plexiglass on the side of the sink cabinet

With those three mods, the curtain stays put and we don't get any water outside the shower.

I picked up the shower guards from Home Depot:

And from Amazon, the OXO Good Grips Shower Curtain Liner Splash Guard Clip

If you mean in his 3rd pic, that's a piece of plexiglass attached to the wall of the bathroom cabinet.

I love showering in our 21dk!! I'm 6'1"and when we upgraded our showerhead to the oxygenics one, my DH moved the whole thing up higher in the wall by a couple inches. I barely have to bend backwards =)
