Trunnion or round bar setup?

Snap-up brackets walking (sliding) on the frame is somewhat common even with a properly adjusted WDH and many users bolt the bracket to the frame. This phenomena appears unique to the trunnion bar setup and seems to occur in sharp turns.

is it the tongue jack thats U shaped now... almsot everyone is referring to the WDS used to haul and level not the tongue jack which I think you refer to above.

when my hand crank tongue jack snapped in Louden NH race weekend in 2012 we swapped it out for an ultrafab ultra 4000 with Led light.

I also have a Barker. I remove the level when dropping the front bunk as the clearance is pretty tight.

Wow! my 4 point Equal-i-zer WDH is so easy to setup and use.
part of the reason i chose it over others, was for this reason.

now the Andersen WDH sounds easy too, but it isn't a proven product yet, IMHO. it's only been out a couple of years.
hopefully, it will be proven to be as dependable as the EQ.

and as far a power jacks, i got my refurb Ultra Fab 3500 off of Ebay, for around $90. has been dependable for 8 years now.

I found out that my trailer guy didn't think as hard as I did when putting on the DC brackets. Because of where some cross brackets are, either the cams would be too close too far back, or just barely making it. He chose the barely makes it. Well, I noticed my cams needed to go back more. Well, all I had to do was flip the brackets, and they were near perfect.

But, I had my jack down while doing that. I picked up all my tools, and went to move the truck forward to get it straight. OOPS. I got a U shaped jack. So, what are the recommendations for a power jack.

I bought a Husky 4500# with Remotes for my Shasta with a tongue weight of 1,000#'s it worked well, now I have a Roo 23IKSS TW just under 600 but still works great and Husky's Service was very responsive with the one issue I had.
