Need new handle for gray dump.

Not sure what to call it, but my handle on the gray line to open the valve broke and I need a replacement. I'm not sure what all I need in terms of parts. Is there a whole kit or do I need just the handle? I was able to pull the valve open with my fingers last weekend and it worked, but obviously a handle is better.

Also, I lost my freshwater drain cap. Someone did a mod about putting a 1/2" threaded elbow, and running a pvc pipe to the side with a valve so they didn't have to crawl under the rig. I can't seem to find the thread with all the parts to do this mod. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Here's mine. Don't have any part #'s, but just a 1/2" elbow, some pex, a hose clamp and a valve. Oh, and a piece of pipe hanger.

Here it is unpainted; you can probably see better in this pic. I just used a chunk of 3/4" square wood clamped to the frame to hold up the back. The wood was intended to be temporary, but, hey, it's working, so it stays.

If I ever have a blow-out, it's probably toast, but my sewer lines are probably toast, too.

How about buying a piece of 3/8 diameter aluminum tubing, cut a piece maybe 6 inches long and drill a hole in it. Never have to worry about breaking again.

you can pick up replacement waste valve handles at any rv parts store or online. ebay, camping world, amazon. they come with a screw to attach them. i suggest you put some loc-tite on the screw to help keep it from coming loose.

Perfect thanks for the responses! I'll see what I can find next time I'm at the dealer.

They come in different diameters. I also swapped out the gaskets. 4 screws and a little flexing of the pipe took less than 15 minutes. .. don't forget to drain it first.
