netting for storage area question

Was wondering if somebody with a newer Roo that has the netting in the storage areas over the bed would let me know how the netting is attached? Pictures would be great.

I've been wanting to do something like this for a couple of years since our baskets tend to fall out during travel.

Thanks

Greg

Since nobody has replied yet I'm going to ask my BIL. They recently got a 233S and I think are storing it on their driveway.

I found the netting in 4"x36" and it says it will stretch to 47". The opening I measured was 42". It comes with cable clamps but I think I j-hooks would be easier. The place sells those too.

I'll let you know what I find out and end up doing.

Greg

My 233S is in storage, but I'm going to check on it tomorrow. I will take some pics of the netting while I'm there.

Thanks. So is it 1 J-hook on each side of the opening at the top and a cable clamp at the bottom?

Yes. So you can remove the netting from the j hooks at the top and let the netting hang if you want.

The pictures I took are the same.

Where does one obtain the netting? I'd like to install some on our bathroom shelf.

Mines in storage also. Our J-hook has popped out of wall.
It's on our list of warranty items for dealer to fix once approved.

When I did my PDI the tech recommended maybe putting some j hooks on the ceiling as well to keep things from falling over the top of the netting.

The J-hooks on the ends are screwed into the wood framing. The J-hook in the middle is screwed into the ceiling which is much less substantial.

I'm considering adding a cargo net in the bathroom in front of the open shelf over the toilet but there's no wood framing. I may add a strip of finished ~1x2 from the shelf to the ceiling on each side by gluing it, then screw the J-hook into that. The glue covering a larger surface area should be stronger than the J-hook pulling on a single point.

Hi, we have a bunk in our Signature. We use a bed guard from a bed in the house that we use for our Grandchildren. Works great.
