Quick question about the P3. I was surprised on ours to see it display even when our vehicle is off and keys removed. Do most of you ermine it and store it when not in use? I'm just afraid I'll forget to install it next time if I do that.
It would appear on most TV's, the BC is always powered, even if the vehicle is turned off. I disconnect it when we get to the CG, put it in it's little pouch and store it away. We usually stay in CG's for a few days at a time, so I usually want it out of the way anyway.

Be very careful with what you assume about Ford dealership know about towing. When I had my Popup, they slapped a towing pkg. on an Explorer they sold me, and the electrical connection was not the big round 7 pin, but a small connection with pins in a line. It worked my trailer lights, once I got an adapter. They didn't know what connection I needed for an RV with electric brakes. I didn't know right away that the trailer brakes weren't being used. Fortunately it was a small 1980 Rockwood popup, and light enough that I didn't miss the brakes. They had no idea what I needed for towing. On the Explorer I have now , I told them I need a towing pkg., and they tried to do the same thing again!
