It is a shame they know about the issues but choose to do nothing about it. After reading all these issues I am thinking of getting rid of that filter putting a hose where the filter is in a bypass mode and only using external stuff. Those filters are not cheap either $30.00

Do the coupler. It's like $1.50 and requires no hose modifications.

Do you mean the shark bite thing from HD and eliminate the internal filter?

So the brass ends come out of the filter housing? Then you put the coupler in between? I don't have my Roo in my driveway to go and look it is at dealer getting warranty work finished

Thanks I will look at doing this I prefer the Camco inline filters they work really well from my experience but mainly us bottled water for drinking anyway.

Back to using camco. And now you can filter your water before it goes in your fw tank. For half the price of the waterpur you get 2 filters. Now I think the water pur is something like .5 microns and the camco is 30. But given how cheap the housing is and the design of the filter, I'd like to see an independent lab test.

I have always used a camco even with the old trailer and this new Roo, I also run bleach thru my tanks and lines two times a year. 40 gallon freshwater and 2 cups bleach, keeps the lines clean and Camco filters do work
