New 2020 Rockwood Roo 235S owner, first camper!

Hi Everyone,

We are super excited to try out our new camper this weekend and I have already learned a ton by you all in reading the posts. Does anyone have a checklist they use for setup once at the campground? Also, any must have's you recommend? Any tips for a newbie would help!

Welcome to FRF!
Go to the Hybrid section of the Forum. There should be a sticky for a Hybrid checklist.
By the way, there's a 23BDS but no 23BS.

I'll fix the title.

Hopefully you got the cheapo "starter pack" from the dealer. This will last the rest of the season and in a while you'll know what better products you need. Don't try to buy it all at once. There's a Walmart in every county and they have a basic supply of camper stuff as well as inexpensive home ware stuff. We found a dish set that almost matches the cushions in our Roo.

We use king size sleeping bags. It's camping and we're not "making beds." Put a flannel fitted bottom sheet over the mattresses.

Repack the camper immediately after returning home and running the towels etc thru the washer and dryer. Have it ready for its next mission. We leave literally everything in the camper including the towbar, WDH bars, and towing mirrors so there's never a question where stuff is.

Enjoy!
