New 23ikss have some ??'s

First question is what will it come with as far as extras?(not options)
Sewer hose?
Shore power cable?
Anything else special?
I was told today that it doesn't come with the power cable. Is that true? I can't see paying $24k on a new camper and having to buy a shore power cable. Maybe the guy I asked was wrong.

I am doing my pdi next Saturday. Is there anything special I should check, look for, inspect closely?

Last question is I am wanting to ad a second tv for the rear bunk. Does anyone know if I can buy a tv mount like the factory one that will quick release and hang outside?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Sewer hose - NO
Shore Power Cable - Yes (At least, every camper I've seen or had comes with one)
TV Mount - dealer should be able to order one.

Thanks rockwood.
I figured it has to come with a power cable. Maybe I was unclear on what I asked about at the dealer. I was just curious because our previous campers just had a hardwired cord you would just shove back into the camper and close the flap.
I will check with the parts dep. next Saturday on the tv mount. I was hoping someone might know the part number and maybe somewhere cheaper to buy it. I'm guessing dearer parts counter won't be cheap. Lol.

I bought my 2014 23ikss last year and mine came with the power cable and a sewer hose. Did yours not come with the tv? Is that why you need the mount?

What you will really need is the 30 amp to 15 amp adapter for use at the house.

Even the used camper I bought came with a cheap sewer hose, 30a to 15a adapter, and other things.

The sewer hose is sometimes thrown in by the dealer, maybe if you ask they might toss in the deal, could always use if you need an extension tp reach the drain, that happened to us one time.

Yes ours came with a tv, but I am taking my tv/DVD combo from our trade. I would like to mount it in the rear bunk and use that tv as the outside if needed.

Already have that from our previous camper, and that comes in very handy!
Thanks.

Has anyone tried mounting a tv in the rear bunk? I know the wall has the shower on the other side. I'm wondering if the wall will support it. They put a cable/annt. hook up back there for a reason.

You got some good answers to some of your other questions. Here's a checklist for the PDI.

As for the hose, I would only use the stinky slinky they give you as a backup and buy a Rhino.

I agree with Triguy....the sewer hose they give you, if they do give you one, will be cheap...do yourself a favor and order a Rhino Flex off Amazon(best prices I have seen, although camping world comes close with sales). The Rhino Flex is rugged, takes a beating, and nice to work with.
Same goes for water supply hose, buy a good one, the cheap ones start to leak around the connections real quick, and speaking of water...make sure you get a water pressure regulator to save your plumbing in the trailer, they are also available on amazon and are very inexpensive.

Is the hitch 2 5/16"? I forgot to ask before I pick it up. I had a R-Vision hybrid with no leaks and I'm not hearing of any on this new model, so I'm hoping for the best.

Thanks for the checklist Triguy.
I do already have a rhino-flex hose from our previous camper.
I normally just use it when at full hook up. I found myself using the cheaper shorter hose while leaving at the dump station instead of dragging out the full length hose.

Also already have a nice drinking/fresh water hose and a regulator.
Thanks for the suggestions! Keep them coming!

Yes. Its a 2 5/16" ball.

As for the rear TV outlet, I'm skeptical the back wall is solid enough to hold a TV mount. Its a pretty thin wall between the bunk and the bathroom. If I was going to mount a tv back there, I would use a swivel type arm and mount against the side of the bathroom wardrobe. That way use could use some longer bolts and even put a wood plate inside the wardrobe for extra strength. Then store the tv folded flat against the back wall and pull it out when you use it.

Does anyone with a 23IKSS know what height to the top of the coupler is when the trailer is level? I'm going to be picking mine up in a couple weeks and want to try to have the hitch close before I get there. Looks like the 233S is ~25" but I'm not sure if this one would be the same. Thanks!

Ask dealer to set it up for you the they usually do it for free. Just slide the person doing it a couple bucks. My dealer set up the whole wdh I had. even had to drill new holes for anti sway bar.
