Yes, the guys at the dealer left it that way but since I wanted to play with it later anyway and the ride home was not that far, I decided to leave it like that.
One thing I may have wrong is that I ordered 800lbs tongue weight bars and I'm not sure now if that is enough... Any clues?
Anyway, I didn't have time to play with it so will check that later...

I had a Camco 1000/10,000 EZ-Lift from my Shasta but TW was close to 780 on Shasta, Roo is under 600. I switch to the Anderson which is adjustable from 600-1400, so I am ok now. When dealer setup Camco on the Roo bars barely had any tension so I Knew it was overkill but you should be ok on 800 because you will load stuff on front, figure Battery is 100#'s and Propane is like 90#'s full so you will be ok.

YES, you did order the wrong one.
You apparently went by fictional brochure/website "dry" weights.
The loaded for camping tongue weight will easily exceed 800lbs.
Heck, my 23SS has a much lower tongue weight and I got the 1000/1000w lbs Equal-i-zer.

Our IKSS loaded, with 2 batteries scaled out at 6050 lbs with 5200 on the axles, so 850 pound tongue weight. You aren't way off, but the 1,000lb bars may be a better way to go. There are a lot of variables here when you look at how much stuff you add, where you put it in the trailer, and how the WDH itself is adjusted to try to shift a little weight back onto the axles.

I've tried to minimize tongue weight after taking it to the scale, as the 850# tongue weight had the F-150 right at max weight for the rear axle and very close to max GVWR. Even though its a 23 foot hybrid, you need a pretty stout tow vehicle to stay within payload specs with that much tongue weight. Thinking the next truck may be a 3/4 ton since we have been accumulating bikes & kayaks since we bought the trailer. Would be nice to just throw whatever gear and firewood we want in the truck and go.

I'll be playing with the WD set up and if I can't get the front back to were it was (the current set up can get it only until 1/2 in above no cargo condition) I'll buy new spring bars.
This is w/o cargo on the trailer but it is also w/o bike, bike rack (mine weight 55lbs(only the rack!!!)) and bikes on the rear of the trailer so things can change....

If you are within a 1/2 in on the front, I would think that's pretty good. The real test would be to find a CAT Scale. There are a lot of good threads on here about how to weigh your rig on a segmented scale like a CAT Scale. If you weigh just the tow vehicle, then weigh the combo you can compare the front axle weights. If you are the same or a little higher on the front axle weight, you should be good. If your front axle weight drops, then I would be trying to adjust. You don't want the trailer taking weight off the steer axle. Otherwise, IMO, the 1/2" height difference doesn't matter.

We are still "discovering" the camper and planning our first outing for maybe 2 weeks.
This weekend I found out that the tires are rated to 75MPH and not the stated in many forums 65 MPH.
Have someone towed at 70 MPH constant?

What brand of tire? Most trailer tires are rated at 65 MPH. Just wondering where you found that the tires are rated at 75 MPH. Want to see if the tires on my new 233S are rated at 75 like yours.

I can't remember the brand, I'll have to take a look again... It's a Chinese tire... but the 75 MPH limit is marked on the tire side...

Regardless of the speed rating on the tires, I would not tow faster than 65 mph. You need to have extra time to slow and stop all that weight back there. No need to be in a hurry - you're on vacation! Exceeding 65 mph occasionally to pass is not a problem even if the tires are only rated at 65 mph.

That is my thinking...
I was planning to keep 62-63 MPH but I was not happy with it.
Most of the highways around here have a limit of 65 for semis and they really ride at or slightly above 65 mph so I would be riding close to the tires limits and with semis buzzing behind me.
If I can keep 65 mph or just a little above that I can keep the pace with the semis and that is great.

That is what I think.

You'll decrease your gas mileage exponentially the faster you drive.
There's a reason most drive in the 60-65mph, other than tire speed rating.
It's the sweet spot for fuel economy.

I tow between 60 & 65 also, but it is nice to know that the tires are rated above that speed on the rare occasions where I have to exceed it. Thanks again!

My Shamrock also came with those tires. I was surprised to see 75 mph rated tires on it. But still plan on my usual 60-63 mph speed.

I have the Westlakes they have 2,000 miles on them and I always stay 60-65 and keep them at 50PSI

I carried 3 and 4 bikes on my Kodiak with the exact same rack and adapter for 6 years, it was all built around welded 1" square tubing, this one is all 2" square tubing and I spent a TON of time on it. Really not sure what you are fussing about. This is how it is done. That is how a hitch is installed on the back of vehicles, weld it all up and bolt it to the frame.
