Glad to here. This is our first TT coming from a small pop up. We are Pulling it With a 1500 ram quad cab. Wife and 2 girls 11 & 15 and they want to bring friends. We have done mostly dry camping so this will be a learning experience for us.

Same with us, we always camped in cabins, thankfully I have friends that are veterans to rving, and have been very helpful. Good luck, and enjoy the camper.

We go up to North South lake . Also going to Robert Treman State Park in Ithica. We camped cathedral pines last year but it was a monsoon torrential rain.

Some nice campgrounds out on the east end of the Island I am 2 miles from Smith Point, further east we have Cedar Point Park on the south fork wich I really like. My favorite is Shinnecock East you need a beach permit as its on the beach actually right on the Shinnecock inlet we go in 2 weeks. Out in Montauk there are more wonderfull campgrounds. I did Cathdrel Pines 2 weeks ago for the Suffolk Comittee for camping kickoff the place was a zoo and everyone seems to love bringing along their loud as hell generators.

JFM, thanks for the info, I definitely want to camp at some of the east end campgrounds, and I have heard that cedar point is nice.
